These are my redundant Texas tattoos.  Texas is such a convoluted, mixed-up, larger-than-life mess.  I identify with Texas, and it is my home.  I don’t live there anymore, and having these tattoos as an identifier is really nice.  They attract fellow displaced Texans and mystify everyone else who can’t comprehend why anyone would want to brand themself with such a ridiculous state.  Both were done at Firing Line Tattoos in Tyler, TX.

She ain’t into wine and roses, beer just makes her turn up her nose and she can’t stand the thought of sipping champange. No cuervo gold margaritas, just ain’t enough good burnin’ tequila. She needs something with a little more edge and a little more pain, she’s my little whiskey girl, my ragged around the edges girl, ah but I like ‘em rough.
